Children: feel safe and be safe poster

Jul 2025

Our Safeguarding Children Services have designed this freely downloadable poster for use in organisations who offer services to children and young people.

This poster is designed to reassure children and young people that their safety is a priority. It encourages them to speak up if they feel worried or unsafe, and reminds them that adults will take them seriously and respond with care.

The poster includes messages such as:

  • “It is never OK for anyone to hurt you”
  • “We will always listen to you”
  • “You can talk to someone you trust”
  • “Everyone here wants you to feel safe and be safe”

Ideal for display in schools, services and community spaces, this resource supports child-friendly communication and a culture of safety.
