With over a decade of experience working in the field of developmental trauma Jen Knoll’s work is informed by a strong understanding of the impacts of trauma on children, young people, and the systems that support them. She is known for her ability to translate complex trauma theory into practical, relevant approaches for educators, practitioners, and leaders. Jen has worked across a broad range of contexts including child protection, out-of-home care, family violence services, and both urban and remote educational settings. She has partnered with schools and organisations across Australia to support trauma transformative practice, staff well-being, and system-wide change. As an experienced facilitator, Jen designs and delivers professional learning that is evidence-informed, reflective, and grounded in practice. She is committed to supporting professionals to deepen their understanding of trauma, strengthen their capacity, and sustain their well-being. Jen is a Mental Health Social Worker and Art Therapist holding further qualifications in developmental trauma and adult education.
