As part of the Bringing Up Great Kids Program, facilitators support parents to practice mindful parenting strategies. Parents are encouraged to use the ‘Stop, Pause, Play’ mindful parenting strategy in daily life with their children. The Remote Control reminds parents to STOP (Stop what they are doing) PAUSE (Take a breath) and PLAY (Interact with their child in a calm and mindful way). Parents love it.
