Nina Moffatt
Senior Parenting & Early Years Consultant
Nina is a Senior Parenting & Early Years Consultant at the Australian Childhood Foundation. As a PACFA-registered counsellor, Nina has spent her career supporting children and families impacted by trauma. Nina has had the privilege of spending a large part of her career journeying with Aboriginal & Torre Strait Islander children and families, an experience that has taken her to both remote and urban locations across Australia.
In her work, Nina finds much fulfilment in supporting those caring for children in out-of-home care and is passionate about empowering the important adults in children’s lives, particularly during their formative early years.
In her current role, Nina now trains facilitators in the suite Bringing Up Great Kids reflective parenting programs and delivers trauma informed education and support into the early childhood sector. Nina draws on her extensive experience as a trauma therapist in her training, to bring theory to life, and providing a reflective and engaging space for those who journey with her.
Nina lives, parents and works on Wurundjeri Country, part of the Kulin Nation. Spending much time in nature, going on “adventures”, as her toddler says.
